This year the Student Council has been extremely busy co-ordinating many fundraising and extra- curricular events. Some ofthe activities this year in- cluded a fabulous Grade Nine Day, a highly success- ful Hallowe'en Dance, an excellent air band competition and Pizza Days every Friday. On top of the many smaller events, the Student Council took on two major projects. The first was the Human Food Chain, which delivered approximately 3,000 pounds of food to the Salvation Army. Many thanks go to all the staff and students who supported this worth- while event. The second major event was the Valentine's Day Dance. At this dance we gave away a 1981 Ford Mustang. The Student Council would like to congratulate Mrs. Ann Rice, who was the lucky winner of the car. The efforts of staff advisors Mrs. Stoutenburg, Mr. Hunwicks, Mr. Norman, Mr. Berni and Mr. Shackell were greatly appreciated. The 1993-94 council had a great year thanks to the stu- dents, staff, parents and the community. Good luck next year!
