PRESfURES OF SCHOOL The buzzer reaks the silence of night.
.I don't like ~etting up with the morning light. I pull the co er up over my head,
Instead of getting ready to ride the bus I dread. Teachers standing in the hall,
Think the place looks like a mall.

"Music's on!" they say and usher us by.
"We're goin !" we say and lie.
All the pressures of the morning
Create faces h a t look like scorning.
I don't know if I can take it;
Break in ten ore minutes, rĀ· hope I make it. "Not so fast! 1' the teacher calls,
"Homework tonight! No going to the malls!" What a bUDllfer every day,
Won't homework ever go away?
Seminars, pr sentations, independent studies, Preparing fo~ doom instead of going out with your buddies
Competition or scholarships,
Too much studying breaks up friendships. Parents tell us, "We're so proud of you!"
