It's a rare event to walk down our hallowed halls of learning and not find a member of our grade 12 or OAC classes totally immersed in a required novel or proofing an essay. Infrequently, however, the need to let loose becomes overpowering and the books are put aside.
When Kim Wilson isn't completing homework, she might be found whipping Sherrie Aucoin and Chris Bickerton in a game of double solitaire in the small cafeteria. Jaime Gulley rushes home from her studies to spend time with her new, beautiful little sis- ter, Hayley. ear for the rest of the night. Deb Fitzsimmons' new mailing address could be the C.C.I. music room since she spends at least 11 hours a week there relaxing by practising musical scores. Jason Young enjoys "stopping a gut wrench"! Sounds strange? Not really! This grade 12 student enjoys the sport of wrestling as an alternative to assignments. Mike Edwards has become the unofficial caretaker of the church across the road, resuming his duties as early as 7:30 am. Chad Parker "hangs ar,ound" with Marney Louis and Marie Prentice- Warden when not working towards his grade 12 diploma. Jeremy Beatson often finds himself getting slaughtered in "Legend of the Red Dragon" against the God of the Network, James Blair.
