The 1995 team was powered along to a 5th overall placing at GB's by the highly competitive girls' teams (especially the Juniors) along with some fine perfor- mances by the trail-hungry guys, notably Scott Helmer (Junior) and Sean Kelly, Mike Allard, and Ryan Sen- car (Seniors). Braving the cold along with the runners were dedicated Coaches Allard, Coukell, Knox and Shephe rd .
The three committed Girls' Football Teams were very successful at the tour- nament after four weeks of practice. Our small but mighty midget team placed sec- ond. Team #1 won the consolation round while Team #2 -the Misfits- managed a first place victory. The snowy ''battle of the sexes" was our season highlight. (more on pg. 45.) Special thanks go to Mr. Hun- wicks, Sammons, Traynor, and Wilson for their unique coaching styles.
