n a world of our own
Five years ago, you thought that you'd never live to see the day when you would smear your face with gold and black paint, stand out in the cold rain and scream until you lost your voice in order to watch a football game. It didn't take long after your arrival into high school and you most likely were totally unaware that it was happening to you, but you had turned into a loyal fan of the Collingwood Fighting Owls! You arrived home late for dinner because you had chosen to sit on a hard bleacher watching the Boys' Volleyball Teams spike to victory. You sur- rendered an early arrival at home in time for your soaps so you could cheer on your best friend as she drove down the court to score the winning basket. You gladly crowded into a packed gym for a spirit assembly and you gave up.a weekend in order to help with a tournament. You volunteered to design a display case filled with photos taken at a wrestling match. At no time were you afraid to stand behind each team and dis- play your school spirit. Such dedication to the many teams of the school had to be fiction - no, it was more than that - it was STRANGER THAN FICTION!!
