The 1994-95 school year was one that this council will never forget. Hard work + dedication from the entire team enabled us to reach our goals every time we tackled an activity.
We had the most successful food drive ever + by the end of November, we had raised over $8000 which was distributed to various organizations + teams. When Christmas was fast approaching, we dug our heels into the ground and raised Canadian Tire Money and other donations to pur-
chase Christmas gifts for the less fortunate children in our community. In second semester , we brought in candy machines to raise more money that we put towards a motivational speaker that pumped up the entire stu- dent body . Also, spirits were raised with another very successful Spirit Day! All of our had work paid off at another extremely successful "Fun In The Sun " day . The students in our school participated in various activities from the beach volleyball to sumo wrestling. What a fabulous way to end an
incredible year!
I would like to thank the staff for their support, and especially the jan-
itors for keeping our rooms spotless. Mr. Hunwicks, Mr. Norman, Mrs. Wil- kinson and Mrs. Stoutenburg provided guidance during the ups and downs throughout this year, but most of all, I want to thank the student body for participating in all of our events and my council for their endless hard work . This was the greatest year evert
