TOP ~0 f_'ST As soon as the snow melts, most CCI stu- dents can be found making mad dashes to the Student Employment Office, writing re- sumes, watching newspaper ads and phon- ing contacts. What is the purpose? Everyone wants to secure a summer job - especially one that pays a lot , allows one to be outdoors, doesn't require one to work weekends and where one only has to deal with customers who are extremely pleasant. Unfortunately, those kind of jobs are often few and one takes whatever is available. For some peo- ple the summer offers long and lingering days at a summer job, where all one can do is work and make money that is often under
minimum wage.

5. Not getting a job until the last week of summer, therefore, not having any money. (Casey Kinsey)
