Recent government reports TELL US THAT our students don't meet the stan- dards according to worldwide testing, OUR SCHOOL administrators should be replaced by those in the business sector and ISN'T anyone capable of conducting music or teaching physical education? Needless to say, the difference between the politicians' viewpoint and that of ex- perienced educators is GREAT. Consider all of the students of Collingwood Colle- giate AND WE will SEE a school that ex- cells in the field of academics with 247 names on the Honour Roll and 45 Onta- rio Scholars. Our teams capture cham- pionship titles and RED ribbons on the tennis courts, ski slopes, and playing fields. Our teaching staff is second to none. Our music students have earned national recognition and our many clubs and committees make us proud to be Fighting Owls!!
