This season's Junior Fighting Owls had only 4 experienced players and everyone elso on the 30 man roster were rookies from grade 9. In
spite of this inexperience, there was a lot of enthusiasm, intelligence and athletic ability among all of the
players. They learned fast and developed into capable players
and if they return next year, we should have a very experienced team. Our record was two wins and four losses and a highlight for the season was a victory over Barrie Central, a team that we have tried to beat over the years. In that game, all of our cylinders were fired and we battled to a 23 to 12 victory . We were also victorious over Twin Lakes, losing to Innisdale, Stayner, Eastview and North. The members of this fine
team (TOP LT} were: Blake A rnill, Mike Bishop, Ryan Farrell, Andrew Fenwick, Everett Finlay, Trevor Firstbrook, Kyle Hewson, Mike Hill, Chris Hogg, Tyler Hunt, Kirk Jarvis, Nick Kolbe, Craig Lavers, Brad Lequyere, Dave Listro, Bill Lougheed, Sean Mayes, Andrew McKee,Brad McKinnon, B ill Neale, Brent Phillips, Dan Plewes, Jarred Scharf, Brendan Shutes, Lisa Stoll, Bill Trude,
