This group has been running for the past two years and continues to
grow in size. At Christmas, a fund- raiser was held and over $60 was donated to World Vision. Nicole Le- Quyere, the student leader, co- ordinates weekly activities. Other members of the group (BOT RT)
are Andrew Arnold, B.J. Cox, Jess- ica Cox, Sara Denbok, Sarah Davies, Tim Whittley, Aaron Douglas, Tara
Morley, Amber Bakalar, Jessica Theyers, Shawn Engel, Matt Leno, Lindsay Simerson, Kristina Leno, Chad Marshall and Gina Nagel. GAIA is the environmental goddess of the earth and the philosophy of the group is that the earth gives us so much so we should put back into it. The group (BOT RT) consists of Christine Thiesen, Bethanne Fraser, Darryl Kemsley, Lyndall Mussell- man and Corrina Haight. Under the leadership of Mr. Jones and Mrs.
Brown, they have cleaned water- ways aroWld Collingwood, raised money and implemented the school's composting program. They were involved in 'Adopt- a-Fish' and recycling. The Peer Mediators are a group of students who attempt to settle disputes within the school be-
fore matters get out of hand. Under
the leadership of Mrs. Morrison,
the group spend a good deal of time in training. Members of this valuable group (RT) are Amy Warne, Can- dace Hare, Kari Loveless, Josh Moore, Melanie Jameson, Angela Hutchinson and Jenn Mercer.
Amnesty International (ABOVE Rl) is a human rights group which, through letter writing, stand up for individuals all over the world who have had their human rights violated. Throughout the year, Amnesty has organized many success- ful activities such as a letter-a-thon, benefit concert and even a Millenium Dunce.
