On the Job
T he 2000-2001 school year found CCI students exploring potential career paths
such as Surgical Nurse, Computer Software Design, Quality Assurance Technician, Administrative Assistance, Police Officer, On-Air Radio Personality and many more, as part of a CO-OP experience. CO- OP is a program that places students in a workplace setting, for half days, for most of the
semester. Some days'are In- School days where students study a curriculum that is connected to their Out-of-School experiences, but most of their CO-OP time is at the job site. For this year 180 of CCI's finest students will be participating in this program. The success rate for our CCI students in their CO-OP program is almost I00%. Because, not only are CCI's students the greatest, but our students also are very appreciative ofthe opportunity that our community employers
offer to them.
