Ryan Able was a dominating presence on the basketball court. He was powerful, strong and very skilled. Ryan worked hard to improve his skills and he played with intensity on both ends of the court. Ryan was a member ofthe Collingwood Trailblazers Juvenile Boys Basketball team last spring and was trying out for the CCI Senior Boys Basketball Team this fall. He was respected and liked by his teammates, opponents, and other coaches. Ryan showed a love of the game and a respect for all other players. When Ryan walked on the basketball court he looked like he was comfortable- he had found a place where he was meant to be. Ryan would often be found aHhe YMCA, practising his game, playing hoops with a community that was one within itself. He was a player, an athlete, and a personable young man. He was always very positive on the hardwood, and a close fiiend to many o f the basketball contingent. Ryan will be missed by the basketball fraternity, and his other friends at Collingwood Colle- giate.
