IE MAKE LOOKING GOOD EASY
On Tuesday October 30, 2001, history teacher Taresa Matchett and 15 students had their hair chopped by Carol Spooner of Olivier Salon for the Canadian Cancer Society. The Wigs for Kids event raised over $4,000. This is a non-profit organization that helps children under the age of 18 by providing hair replacement solutions for children affected by hair loss.The hair pieces would normally cost $1,500, but thanks to Wigs for Kids,
They make it possible for the kids to recieve the hair at no charge to their families The students participating in- cluded Kyla Sheppard, Deanne Rowbotham, Ashley Weatherall, Nicole Ward. Maria Visconi, Katelin Simerson, Melissa Girardin, Sabrina Nicholson, Ashlee Mceachern, Mark Connoly, Mark McCarl, Chris Vance, Simon Houston, Angie Mcintosh and Mike Ferguson
