2002 was a very success- ful year for the Wigs for Kids initiative. All in all, over $7500 in pledges and independent dona- tions were raised to help in the fight against can- cer.
On November 7th,
several hundred CCI students gave dona-
tions to attend the mov-
ing Wigs for Kids ass- embly. On stage, seven- teen brave and generous CCI girls donated their hair for the creation of wigs for children fighting cancer. Five brave and gen- erous CCI boys had their heads shaved to show sup- port for the event and for those fighting cancer.
Carol Spooner and assis- tant Tycee from Olivier's Salon graciously donated their time and skills for
the event.

to this year's organizers Brandi Hodgins, Ashlee McEachern, and Ms. Kosovic. Student's participating included Amanda Higgins, Jenna Mcintyre, Bobbie Easton, Nicole Ward, Megan Redwood, Joanna
Bennett, SerenaMoore, Stephanie Sibley, Christine Sibley, Sarah Reynolds, Kaley Reid, Aleda Carr, Janice Potts, Lisa Shaw, Marcie Chaudet, Emma Greasley, Rachel McDonald, Julie Attridge, Becca Bohton, Alanna Vignale, John Taylor, Mike Mulcaster, Luke Atkinson, and Mark Connolly.
