Canadian Math Competition
On Wednesday February 20th, thirty-six students partici- pated in the Canadian Math Competition for Grade 9, 10 and 11 students. Certificates of Distinction are awarded to those who earn scores in the top 25% of students writing the contest. Megan McAndrew and Rowan Denny re- ceived Certificates of Distinction for their score in the Grade 10 Cayley Contest. Megan received a medal for her first place finish at CCI. Sarah Brown receives a medal for her first place finish in the Grade 11 Fermat Contest. Dave MeKechnie had a very close second place score in this contest. Congratulations to all students who wrote the
contests.
