There Goes Thar Hair!
The Fourth Annual Wigs for Kids was another smashing suc- cess! The emotional and suspenseful assembly was on Novem- ber 201h, but its success was a result of hours of dedication from the organizers and participants.
For those who are not familiar with the event, Wigs for Kids is an annual and dual charitable cause. Students raised money for the Canadian Cancer Society by cutting their hair. All hair that was at least 8 inches long was cut off in the aforementioned assembly and shipped off to a wig manufacturer. The manufacturer will make the hair into wigs for young cancer patients and these will be given as gifts. Hair that was shaven off was not used, but the

Adrianna Bell was the spark and the fire who made this year's event happen. She got the ball rolling and did all the preparation needed to make the event a success. Not only did she co-ordinate the charities involved and all other administrative duties, but she also collected dona- tions and pledges for her own hair donation!
