"I am dreaming of a ....green Christmas..." could well have been the theme of the 2003 holi- day season. In the halls and classrooms of CCI, the warm temperatures did nothing to dampen spirits. Student Council once again organized their Toy Drive, asking everyone to donate Canadian Tire money so that toys could be purchased for needy children. Several doors bore Christmas artwork as they competed in the Door Decorating Contest. It was a difficult decision, but Mr.
Coukell's unique idea of wrapping his entire portable as a gift won first place. Mr. Moore's woodworking class created wooden toys for the Salvation Army. The highlight of the week was the Annual Christmas Assembly where a packed gym watched the talents of Studio 138, students in the choir and music programmes, the office staff and the grand finale of Mr. Spencer and Mr. McAndrew wishing everyone
'a very Merry Christmas.'
Question- How do you get an elf to stick to your door? Answer? Just ask Charlie Harvey (LT)- it involves a couple of rolls of duck tape! Mr. Coukell's Class (TOP) had a bit of trouble wrapping their gift- their English portable.
