With several new faces in the line-up, the Girls' Hockey Team was hun- gry for victory early in the season. They began their season with an exhibition win against Barrie North and a first-game tie against Eastview . The girls were ready to de- stroy the competition, and gave it their all as they battled through the sea- son, experiencing decisive victories and heartbreak- ing defeats. When the dust finally settled at the end of the season, the girls

sat almost at the top of the heap, in second place. Two playoff victories earned them a berth in the GBSSA tournament in Barrie. Unfortunately, the season ended just shy of the dream, as the girls had to settle for third place. The girls have nothing to be ashamed of, however, as they are a tal- ented team who will go even further in the future. Congratulations on hard- fought season girls, and best of luck to our gradu- ating players!!
