Knute Rockne once said that "Winningisn'teverything, it's the only thing'! The Fighting Owls of CCI know that this is nottrue.Ifateamwinsagame or championship, it is a bonus . . Otherwise, sportsmanship, attitude, teamwork, dedication, fitness and organization are important lessons that are constantly practiced on the court, on the field or along the
course. As·long as an athlete has tried their very best, there is no shame with coming in second place. CCI is extrememly proud of each athlete - proud of the fact that this individual represents our school.
Accolades are expressed over the morning announcements, photos appear in the Gleaner, school website and newspaper and ofcourse, all Fighting OwIs receive recognition at the Annual Athletic Banquet. Organized by the Athletic Council, the many coaches vote for outstanding members on their terns.
