Quench is composed of CCI students who have a relationship withJesus Christ, and wish to share God's love and grace that they have fbund in their lives since becoming followers df Chirst. We meet every Wednesday at lunch ill room 134. Our vision statment this year is "to prepare ourselves to spread the news of slavation, and then do it!" Jesus said "I am the light for the world! Follow me, and you wont be walking in darkness." Each member in Quench believes this, and is interested in
offering their friends opportunities to find out about starting a raltionship with Jesus, if their friends are interested in finding out. Through out the year we talk about topics such as; growing in our faith, building relationships, starting spiritual conversation, God's plan for us, and various other topics. No one is unwelcome at Quench; any person is welcome to attend every week, or check it out any other week of the year. Although semester one is more focused on preparing for ourselves to share about God, in semester two Quench will be doing more kinds of outreach stuff, and plan activities, and other events along those lines within the school. However, it is hard, if
not impossible, to predict exactly which direction Quench will be going a year from now. One thing is for sure though: Quench exists and is motivated by the love for God and each other. "I personally (Gretchen) thank and praise Jesus that this group is allowed to exist in the school, and pray that he will use us to benefit others."
