or months, prior to the Senior Spring Prom, the female population of the school begins with a long tradition at CCI- who is one going to go to the dance with and, even more important, what will the dress look like. Meanwhile, back at school during the lunch hours, the Formal committee is planning on the theme and decorations. The males do their part in preparation by ordering a corsage and deciding on a mode of transportation. The excitement builds until that final day at the end of May. Elegantly attired students entered a world of twinkling lights in the frosty 'Ice Palace'. The dance floor was filled with couples and friends sharing their final dance in their high school days. However, the night didn't end at the ski club- everyone was then off to a number of post prom functions.
