Agents stay undercovers with snow cover
Agents are inclined to be suspicious of anything outofthe ordinary. They are taught to observe routine. Any deviation is cause for alarm. On an average day, the alarm goes off and each arises to get ready for a day in training. However, there are four factors that could alter this schedule- exces- sively cold temperatures, freezing rain that encrusts all surfaces and a large
amount of snow during the night coupled
with strong winds.
Living in the snow belt of Ontario, these weather conditions can occur frequently. Agents immedi- ately turn on the radio and await to hear those words, 'All buses in Simcoe County have been cancelled'. For those unable to proceed to school, it's a day to sleep and catch up on work. Some do brave the elements to come to CCI and they spend their day in the gym shooting baskets or consult- ing with a teacher.
