T h e Junior Fighting Owls football team enjoyed a season full of crushing blocks an l_ breathtaking team tackles coupled with amazing individual feats of courage,
strength, and conviction throughout the season. Despite suffering an early season ankle injury, John Syriani showed a tremendous amount of skill and determination an that gave an opportunity for first year quarterback Jarnie Cook and first year running back Josh Reason to display their talents on the offensive side of the ball. Defensive! the Fighting Owls were blessed with a solid core of returning players led by Bruce Cousins, Steve Maxwell, Dakota McGann, Taylor Fraser and Alex Sheen. Darcy Gogan emerged as one of the team's best tacklers in his first year of football and rookie Kyle Crowe has shown impressive speed and is ready to take over the leadership role next season. Best of luck to our grade 10 players making the transitio to senior football next !
