Dorothy and her friends made their way to the Emerald City to ee the Wizard of Ozzie, they had little time for fun. They were onstantly facing the evil doings of the Wicked Witch and her
flying monkeys. Had Dorothy and Toto taken the yellow brickroad directly to CCI, they would have had a much better time especially if they had arrived on 'Funiri.theSun' Day in June. It was a beautiful warm sunny day-
no tornadoes in sight- and both students and teachers rocked inside and
outside. In the gym, there was a competitive 'Battle of the Bands' .
on the football field and area, one could have tried a hand at volleyball, ran an obstacle course, tested one's balance against
or sat in the rays and wolfed down a hamburger. The Emerald never had activities such as these! In a matter of a few days , '"""P"a- the Wicked Witch would descend upon the home of the
Owls, leaving a pile of final exams behind!
