Little Sllop of Horrors... Tile :Musical
Musical theatre is a collaoorative art form, integrating music, song, spoken dialogue, characters, dance and technical design in often gripping, emotional, humorous stories. "Musicals" are performed to massive audiences all around the world; however, smaller 'off-Broadway' regional productions by amateur groups in schools and community theatres can be just as influential and meaningful.
Here at CCI, there is a long tradit1on of musicals which - though on a decade-long hiatus - re-emerged last season with the fantastic and somewhat campy Little Shop of Horrors. Working as a team of educators, one would be hard-JS>ressed to find another such project that so encompasses the school community, local businesses, partnerships ana families from the area, as we all come together to provide students with an opportunity to excel and demonstrate their skills. It was a most enjoyable experience to work as a team on this show. We hope you enjoyed this dr matic musical extravaganza! And remember - don't feed the plants!
