Sports. The word that sums up only one part of CCI. The enthusiasm, dedication, sportsmanship, and the bond that forms by the teams at CCI is what truely makes every team unique. The long and tiring practices, the bruises and injuries is all apart of our fight to the end. Wins and loses, triumphs and long faces. But at the end even if you dont win a game or tournament, the coach will still give that speech that we are all winners, no matter what.
With the entire school behind every team, showmg their support by showing up to games. Walking out on that field, court or ice with their heads held high, ready to fight for what is truely cc1•s and no one elses. With the morning announcements making it known to all of the school that the Sr Boys Football team won their intense game. The Golf team had an amaz1 g team, Sr Boys Soccer is having an awesome season, or the Sr and Jr Girls Basket-ball teams dominating in their fight to win. No matter what, win or lose this school is dedicated to their CCI Fighting Owls. We dont always bring home the gold but even then we dont get down on our team. But lets face it... n·s always better to win.
