Alpine OFSAA Championships took place at Blue Mountain with 350 athletes in attendance. Wind chill in the minus 30 range and too much snow with gusting winds started the competition on Day one. Level 2 Girls Team Leader, Ashley Heenan lead her CCI teammates, Kailey Wilkins, Keirsten Monis, Christie Gilman and Sarah Strandholt to a Bronze medal in the Team Slalom event. Heenan missed the individual bronze medal by 4/lOOs of a second and the silver by 1/lOth of a second a blink of an eye!
In Level 1 Boys Giant Slalom, Brock Perrault tore the competition to shreds with a gold individual result. James Frost posted the 3rd fatest time in his second run and vaulted up the leader board from 13th to 5th place. Ryan Taylor and Cody Malcolm continued CCis domination by taking 9th and lOth. Four athletes in the top 10, unheard or in OFSAA history! CCI won the team gold medal and the OFSAA banner!
On Day 2 of OFSAA, the Level 2 girls slipped to 5th place out of 19 teams with Ashley Heenan leading the way with an 11th place overall finish.Lorem ipsum dolor est The Level 1 boys were in fine form with a gold medal already under their belt. They were told to complete the course, and they would win double gold! Brock lead off the team with a great first run to post the fastest first run time. Frosty placed 6th and Cody Malcolm and Ryan Taylor both DNFd their first run.

Needing 3 athletes to score, Josh Noronha was the only hope of the day. With a dead last start number of #94 not looking encouraging, he managed to move up to 26th place after his first run.
