Every year we have students leaving CCI and new students coming in. For the new additions to CCI it can be a very exciting yet nerve racking time. In order to make the grade 9s feel more welcome in our school, each year we have a day dedicated to helping them ease the traistion from grade 8, making them feel more comfortable in their new surroundings.
Every grade 9 homeroom class is assigned a country and are told to dress up in their country's colours and battle against the other countries in order to see who has the most spirit and who will push themselves to win! Overall, it was a great turn out this year and everyone had an awsome time working together and dressing up.
