Rs a coach. the mOGt important thing to me is not winning. but achieVing a personal best. This year with this team. we have done that. With only 8 students returning for cheer and J.S students brand new to cheer. our first praciices were interesting. to say the least. What I am the most impressed with are my cheerleader's abiliiies to work as a team. be inclusive of everyone on that team. and to recognize that as long as they work together amazing things can, and will. happen! I think it takes great courage for males to be in a sport dominated by females...and we were lucky enough to have q strong guys willing to put their masculinity (and dance ability) on the line to participate in a sport that causes more bruises. cuts and concussions than football and rugby combined! Way to go. guysm! Overall. Fighting Owls Cheer beat their own past record by scoring higher than ever before in points. Congratulaiions on a fabulous season!
