We arrived in Europe safelY after the longest 8 hour flii!ht! Most of us did not sleeP on the Plane and were .iet-lai!i!ed when takini! our first stePs into Paris. We have a ton of memories from this once-in-a-life-time triP and here are some of the hii!hlii!hts.
PARIS: Fond memories include: the first triP on the metroPolitan train where we met an accor- dion PlaYer who caPtivated us with the music of Paris. A man who we all most likelY will never fori!et was our bus driver. Ville. who kept us in line when it came to our cleanliness on the bus. The Palace of Versailles was also verY memo- rable.. We saw the most beautiful i!ardens. Paintings and !!old interiors. How could we fori!et our tour guide Lola who always had our skiddle for the day and started our mornini!s
with ''Dent worrY Be HaPw:·
AMSTERDAM:
A peak of Amsterdam was when we had the chance to tour the worlds famous Anne Franks' house museum and had the OPPortunifY to see the ori!!inal diarY.
BELGIUM:
The highlight of Belgium was having their well known exquisite chocolates and waffles.
NETHERLANDS:
A memorY that most of us will never forget is the Liberation Parade where it can be easilY remembered as the most Powerful and haPPiest moment of the entire triP. We had the chance to witness the gratefulness of the Holland·s PeoPle
and be thanked for what our ancestors did to create Peace amongst the coun- tries. We have never been more Proud to be Canadian in that moment.
BERLIN: ope; Our triP is close to its end and we still ~ e;u.o-v¥ have a lot of more memories to be made. vcw ~
