Going for the Win
2010 was one of C.C.I.'s best years ever on the trails and hills as 'The Black Sea' once again dominated the Simcoe Country League in Cross-Country Running and then followed up their four league meet victories with another GBSSA Overall Champion- ship.
The team was strong from Midget to Senior in both Boys and Girls races. By season's end the Owls had extended their record streak to 36 straight league meet vic- tories en route to their 9th consecutive 'Golden Boot' recognizing the Simcoe County Champions.
GB's were hosted by Collingwood at Duntroon's Highlands Nordic and C.C.I. proved to be inhospitable hosts as they tore past their competition to capture their 6th straight GBSSA Overall Girls and Boys Combined Championship.
