 Giving Vandalism the Backseat
]n the SCDSB, students and educators are taking action against the issue of vandalism within our schools. The SCDSB are promoting awareness against the negative "art work" within our schools. Even in CCI, vandalism is definitely taking a toll on the student body - The staff and students at CCI are fed up.
In a write up from the SCDSB News page: "The Van- dalism Project Team has been using a proactive ap- proach in creating strategies to reduce damage to our schools," says Carol McAulay, Associate Director, (SCDSB). This team will hopefully help students with keeping the walls clean, decrease instances of bully- ing, as well as improve the overall atmosphere at our schools. As students, we need to help stop these acts of vandalism. This is our school and in order to main- tain a great school we need to take action, put down those pens, markers etc and end the issue of vandalism for good!
Pink Promotes Positivin
illhis year on February you helped to make a
great! Although school
spiriting is lacking this
year, our student body
really pulled through. If
you were apart of the it if it happened to you! Pink shirt day this year,
difference. Bullying affects us all and the fact that we had a passion to help pro- mote anti- bullying helped us as a school to put our foot down on this issue. Bullying is not OK and for
23rd, students all across
Simcoe County wore
pink to promote the
awareness of anti- bully-
ing. CCI really shocked
us all with the amount of
pink people were wear-
ing and it was really the individuals who have
been bullied or are being bullied presently, we wore pink for you. Stand up for bullying- you wouldn't like
