Exchange students travel from many dif- frent countries. They come to improve their English and to get experience living in a diffrent culture. You see them in the hallways at CCI but you might not realize that they're from a foreign land.
Whet her it's Japan, Germ any, Spain or Italy, students are all the same regardless of where they come from.
Jannis Poessel travelled nine hours to Canada from Germany because hesaid"Iwasboredof Germany". He stayed in Canada for five months and travelled to Niagra Falls with his host family. He also discovered his fa- vorite Canadian food, "the poutine" . Jannis said "it was fantastic" and he plans on returning to Canda in the future.

Canada from Italy. She chose to come to Canada because she wanted to improve her English and be more in- dependent. She stayed in Canada for 3 months and her favorite memory was the nature·walk with all the exchange stu- dents. She says "donuts and bagels are certainly my favorite Canadian food" . She hopes to return in the near future.
from Germany. He stayed in Canada for 4 months and while he was here discovered that steak was his favorite Canadian food. He stayed with his host family, Jody, Warren and 2 brothers and a sister. He says "they are the best host family that I can imagine" and he says "yes i love it here, i'll try and come back next year.
