A day for the newbies of Collingwood Collegiate to get to know their school, peers and teachers.
Going into grade nine can be really stressful. Usually students going into high school are really nervous and scared because they've never experienced it before. Also they don't know if they'll make new friends or not. So every year Collingwood Collegiate holds a grade nine day. This day is ALL about grade nines. It helps them gain new friends, learn about the school and how it works, and meet their new teachers. There are a lot of interactive games that involve every one in this grade and make the tension of high school disappear.
