Halloween traditionally celebrates the one day of the year where spirits and the dead can cross over and be with
the living. The living would dress up to honour those that have passed on. Halloween costumes are traditionally
modelled after supernatural figures such as monsters, ghosts, skeletons, witches, and devils.
Over time, the costume selection extended to include popular characters from fiction, celebrities, and generic archetypes such as ninjas and princesse
This year the students of CCI dressed up in their costumes and came to school to show them off. We had a costume contest where students competed for the best disguise. Don Foley, Vannessa DenBok and Youki Akimoto were just some of the people that had the top costumes.
