In October 2012, the senior tennis team competed in the regional tournament at Collingwood's Cranberry Resort. Only four athletes played on the team. We had two mixed doubles teams entered. The team of Julie Clark and Jacob Leach faced some stiff competition and advancaed to the third round before they were defeated. Unfortunately they did not qualify for the GBSSA Tennis Finals. The following week at the GB finals our other team of Jenna Machin and Jeff Thompson were winning all of their matches but could not defeat their final round competition and placed 2nd overall. They did however qualify for OFSAA Tennis in June.
