History teaches us about past historical events and important wars. If you wish to become a lawyer, judge, or any other career choice that requires extensive knowledge of the law, then the Canadian and Intenations Law course is a perfect choice. The department also offers grade 9 geography and grade 10 history as extended french courses. Throughout the school year, Canadian and World Studies takes students on many exciting field trips, such as trips to the R.O.M, courthouses, tours of Toronto, and numerous other museums. Each spring, the Canadian and World Studies department offers a senior trip to either New York or an over sea's destination. These trips in particular are often the highlight of many students high school experiences. The department offers very unique forms of hands on learning to students, such as participating in mock trials and mock United Nations simulations.
