Through the eyes of an owl is the theme of this years yearbook.
As students attending Collingwood Collegiate, we know that Ozzie the Owl is our Mascot, that the old Gym is known as The Owls Nest, and that our sports teams are The Fighting Owls. This years Yearbook Staff thought it might be interesting if we took the theme "through the eyes of an owl" as no one else understands can this school until they see it for themselves.
Of all of the Owls features, perhaps the most striking is its eyes. Large and forward facing, which give an Owl its wise appearance. The eyes of an owl are what give them the opportunity to see further ahead than many others.
Just as the owl looks further ahead, i]the yearbook staff hopes that you take time to reflect on this year and continue to look foreword to the future. From the moment you stepped onto the very foundation that holds this institution, you are, and always will be, a Fighting Owl.
