UNIVERSITY CI..ASSES.-Pass and Honour Work for the Universities are read with great care, and every possible facility is afforded in this department. Gentlemen wishing to read for University Honors may be sure of efficient training and of having the stimulus of association and competition with numerous and enter rising classes.
TEACHERS CLASSES.-The work of First-Class Certificates is done in the Upper School. The number of those staying for Second-Class has become so large that an entire Fonn is now exclusively devoted to the work of preparing for their Examinations.
In another Form the work for Third-Class is made a specialty. There are regular Examinations and weekly Lectures on Education.
Extra Cla.sses are formed for those who need special instruction in Classics, and where necessary those who are preparing for the Examinations of the Med. Council, Law Soc. and Sch. of Engineering.
There is a complete equipment for doing the work of both Upper and Lower SchooL Not only a full Staff of competent Masters, but a good supply of Maps, Charts, and apparatus for illustrating Natural Philosophy and Chemistry.
BOARDING HOUSE.-There are about twenty Boarding Houses recommended by tlle School, where Students only are kept. Mr. Tait will have accommodation for more tllan 30 boarders.
BOOKS OF REFERENCE., &c., of Education, Classics; Examination Papers, &c., are kept in the School, and by a liberal arrangements with the Mechanics Institute, the Students have for a trifling fee, access to its large and well assorted Library, and Literary Society.
