for8otten for these lwo years lhe school was without a 8Ym. bul Lhe learns 8ained renewedspiritwilhlheopenin8ofthe8Ym- nasium in 1925. from there they slru881ed throu8h season afler season. bul lhe Birls fou8ht hard and were victorious a8ainst ar- chrivals such as 6layner and Barrie Central. In 1961 the 6enior Girls were successful in
achievin8 their 8oal of GM6A champs. which paved lhe way for a bri8hl fUture. thal resulted in numerous championships l hrou8h 70's and 80's. The Birls basketball teams have shown the spirit synonymous with Lhe name CCI fi8htin8 Owls.
