For many years the Gleaner has been at once a source of amusement and terror to the students and staff of the C. C. I. It has created many imaginary romances, to the great embar- rassment of bashful youths and maidens and with its withering scorn has nipped in the bud other promising affairs of the heart among the more sophisticated students.
