V aledictory of the Class of 1925 Harvard (Doc) Connolly
There is indeed a great responsibility attached to the duty of presenting the valedictory address of the Graduating Class of 1925, if I am even approximately to express all their feelings and sentiments. As an humble sample of this graduating class and as one who has experienced all these feelings and sentiments I might say that they are basicly comprised of a mixture of happiness, regret and anticipation, and if I could properly dilate
upon these conditions I believe I might be able to properly re- present the whole class and properly express all their thoughts and feelings.
I will say that the happiness begins when the old C. N. R. puff-puff heads toward Collingwood and pounds along the track seemingly more up. down, around and sideways than straight ahead. One might think that the very utmost in happiness is reached when the old Collingwood station comes into view-and we are asked to go to the Globe Hotel, or maybe the Arlington.
