the intermediate shot-put, while H. Reid gave a good account of himself in the relay. Marcella Plater, also active in winter sports, placed first in the downhill and second in the slalom ski-meet races.
Several of our class members also took part in dramatics. Those who helped make the 1947 commencement a success were Phyllis Barry, Jane
Beecroft, Joyce Carroll, Marjorie Dag- gitt, C. Bell, G. Crosbie, K. Knuff, T. Wensley and B. White.
Last among our activities, but by no means the least ardently supported, was our all-out effort to support the Canadian Aid to China Fund. We are proud that, with 100% class support, we stood first among the IX's and X's and third in the whole school.
