brought to a fitting climax the military portion of the
programme.
A mass demonstration of physical training by the
girls dressed in their blue uniforms was very effectively carried out, as were the several dances in appropriate costumes denoting the various styles and countries, such as, Scottish , Sailor ' s Hornpipe, English Country and Scan-
dinavian and' of course the popul ar square dance . The
boys, not to be out-done, made their bid for fame in the form of a five-man gymnastic team, which performed a number of difficult manoeuvres and pyramids on the paralled bars and th~ "horsel', and later added the finishing touches with a humorous wrestling match .
The Company then formed ranks on parade. Captain
D. A. MacR~e introduced Lt . Col . Kennedy who complimer ted the Corps on its excellent performance describing the Collingwood Corps to be "one of the better Cadet Corps in Ontario" . Capt . Busby also extended his congratulations to the corps and annou ced that -Cadet Sgt . Malcolm MacLeod was one of 27 cadets chosen from the 11,000 in Ontario
to attend the Annual Summer Camp 'at Banff . Capt . MacRae extended his own appreciation to the Cadets and girls for thei r creditable work and thanked the audience for the
way in-which they helped make the inspection a success.
