By 11: 00 o 'clock the shooting was over , the Meaford team taking top honours with a score"of 94.1. The other
teams placed as follows: O rillia 90 .3, Collingwood The Collingwood team
Owen Sound 91.4, Barrie 91.1, 89 . 8 and Midland 75.8. consisted of: Len Cooke, Ed
Duggan, Jim Duggan, Gar y Hewson, Donal d James , Russel
McConnell, J ack White , and Harold Whitehead . Capt. D. A.
MacRae and Lt. T. L. Boyle condu6ted the meet a~sisted by ""
cadets W. Forgrave, G. Graham, R. Harling and"B. White. The adjudlctor was Sergeant H. Scrannage of the Reserve Army.
The programme for the school year 1950-51 is very
much the same as l ast year. The type of t arget in use
for r ecr eational sh60ting has been changed a~d onl y one
award, the one for th~ 10 best targets, will be awarded J'
each"year. In addition to the competitions enterrd last year we will enter the Dominion of Canada Rifle Associa-
"" tion (D.C".R.A.) competition, province of Ontaric compet-
ition arid the Royal Military College Competition. This year Lt. Boyle is being assisted by Mr. J. Parkin and Mr . J. Sutherland.
