Paul copped t op honours i n t he senior di vision by vir- tue of hi s three firsts in his specialiti es , ~ole vault, high jurn:;::> and broad jump. -ie also bettered the record he set last year in the .901e vault by some five and a half inches to reach eleven feet four and a half inches. This
record should stand for some time to corne, ma~ing a tough mark for future vaulters to shoot at.
Some are born great, some achieve greatness but Ian Stewart had greatness thrust upon him. Jim Du{;gan collected his share of the Collingwood sen- ior points by placing in the 440 and 880 yard dashes.
Collingwood's senior relay team composed of Ian Stewart, Ed Duggan, Paul Pursianen and Jim Du~~an passed the baton
in fine style to earn a close second in a very fast 880 yard relay race won by O. S. C. V. I. In the evening"the various cups and trophies were pr esented at a dance in the a. S. C. v. 1. gym.
