The Black Knights of C.C.I. launched out on another crqsade this year but because of the graduation "of ~uch ' stalwarts as Pat Corcoran, Harry Whitehea~, Bill Girdwood and various others, the Black a,ad Gold failed ' to make
much of a showing. Our mqtto seemed, like,that of John Paul Jones to be, "I have not yet begun to fight," let's hope th3.t next year our motto will 'be, "We have met the enemy and they are ours'Y.
Mike Harling-captain--Played snap and the odd time in the backfieLd for power plunges. An inspiration
to all on the team by his hard playing and fight- ing spirit.
Ken ~atthews-co-captain: Flayed both line and fullback. His educated foe won for him the loop's kicking
contest.
Glen Leeper-flying wing: Fury, fi nes ce and utter abandon . ,
Renowned for brilliant running and hard tac'klihg. Bill Fisher-quarterback: His first year at football but
: a promi$ing fi eld general.
Gary Hewson-fullback: He did very well at hitting the line
in his first year of football.
Bill Garti an-left half: A,vet 'from l ast year, w"s a slip-

John Keith-Inside: Ro:ugh, re_dy, and rugged. We missed him for t he l ast few games because of a broken nose.
