C. D. C. I. JUNIOR BASKETBALL TEAM
The Juniors had a gooct year although IIJIOt as successful as they had h01ped. They had g, good team but they r,an n? ~- J!ll.imlt stiff oompetition and fin- ished srecond in the league.
The Juniors won three of their six ga;mes. They defeated Al- J,istonr t.wice la,nd Erarrie once. They lost two g-ames to Midland and one to Barrie.
Some very g-ood Players wer'l seen in the .Junior line-up. such as John Hill. Jr.. who was b~il liant at shortsr orf al!l'Y kind. 'Don Mc:Lean played ,a smart !!'arne as a forward and Roy Crew
played very well as a very fast hard-checking guard. Ray play- ed for the Seniors most of the season. Floyd McDermid was a good shooting forward. Francis Maguire w;as fast and had a good lonrg shot. Ian Clark, John Vint and Grant Nixon were three fi\ghiting forWa.rds. ,Terry Dravis and Paul Forth were two other fast 1and good shooting forwards. Keith Eoff and Harvey Underdown were hard playing guards.
Most of the Junior players will be playing Junior ag,ain next year so we are looking forward to a good promi'Sing team.
