        TRANSPORTATION
Each day of school eight buses travel around 392 miles to carry an average of 234 pupils to the high schools in Stayner and Creemore, and to Collingwood Collegiate.
Alex McQueen drives bus 4 along route I to bring students on Mountain Road, the town Line, Poplar Sideroad, Tenth Concession, Jardine's Sideroad and Highway 24 to Collingwood. Morris Redpath drives no. 6 bus on route 2 to bring students along Highway 24 (Singhampton), Pine Tree Sideroad, Town Line, Duntroon Sideroad and Highway 24 to Collingwood. Earl Redpath drives bus I on route 3 to collect students along Highway 26, in Wasaga Beach, on Monsley Street, the Fourth Line at Vancise Corner, and the Sixth Line and bring them to Collingwood. Bus 3 is driven by Harry O'Toole on route 5 to get students along Highway 24, on McAlis- ter Sideroad, the Sixth Line, on Highway 9I, along the Fourth Concession, and Aitkin's Sideroad, Highway 9I to Stayner and brings them along highway 26 to Collingwood.
Tom Mortson of Stayner drives bus 2 on route 4 to bring students on the Town Line, Twelfth Line, Power's Sideroad, Sunnidale Road, Ninth Concession and Flyn's Sideroad, Seventh Concession and Highway 26 to Stayner. Bus 7 on route 6 goes from Stayner along the Second Line to Creemore and returns with Grade XIII students who transfer to Bus 3 at Stayner for Collingwood. Oscar Weatherall in charge of bus 5 on route 7 brings students on the county road No. 9, Tenth Line at Dunedin, along the Eighth Line to Glenhuron, at Smithdale, along Riverside Drive to Creemore. J. Millsap on a contract route brings students from Banda, Avening, the Fifth Line, and Mount Zion to Creemore.
Wednesdays and Thursdays students from Creemore and Stayner High Schools are taken to Collingwood Collegiate for Home Economics and General Shop classes.
When the new collegiate opens in January, 1954, two additional buses will be needed to bring Grade IX to XII students of Creemore and Stayner to Colling- wood.
