The Students' Council and the Concert Band presented "Variety Nitell, in November, 1957. This show was performed to sell-out audiences for two nights , in the C.D.C.I. auditorium .
Of musical interest: The Band played several featured numbers as well as the incidental music. Ruth Raymer, soprano; the Glee Club; Werner Zotter and his nccord10n; and the two guitarists, John ~febster and Keith Ritchie, all demonstrated their talent and ingenuity in various acts.
Not to be fore;otten, of course, is Rex, the ~ifonder Dog. Also, the C!.Reerloo.clo.re, directed by Mrs. 'IJ.£1. Gough, presented a very colourful. dr.ill. The student s of

l,ierry Molly Malone, a comedy, was directed by .BilJ., Hawkins., ,o.f XII A. The players were all students of Grades Nine and Ten whose sp'irited Irish burrs or snobbish hi gh soci ety ant i cs deli ghted the audience .. .T!le play set i n the Barrington apartment in a Canadian city, proved again that the luck of the Irish wins through.

When Paul and Mary Jones entered tho house at 10 P.~Jl., their parents scolded thei] severely for being out so late. l\lr. and Mrs. Jones cited the example of Junior, who was always in bed by 10 P.ld. to bolster their argument.
